ZONE 7 CANDIDATES
Frances Rosales is a mother of four. She is a SEO Manager at a publishing house and has a leadership role with the non-profit Break-Thru Nashville.
Rosales says her priorities are to “restore parental rights, address rezoning issues, and promote transparency in our school system curriculum.”
Rosales supports “age-appropriate” curriculum and wants parents to have “the choice to opt-out of material they deem inappropriate for their own children.”
Rosales has spoken out against students being exposed to “divisive or extreme ideology” and instead supports “a strong public school system that allows students to flourish academically and socially.”
Rosales is running for School Board as a Republican and is endorsed by Latinos for Tennessee.
Cindy Daniel is a mother of five, lifelong Tennessee resident, and nursing manager.
Daniel says she is running for School Board to “help bring joy back to the workplace of our teachers, engage students in a safe and quality enriched learning environment, empower our parents to be more involved, and foster values of integrity, compassion, a positive attitude, [and] respect…”
Daniel is running as an Independent.

The August 4th election will select 4 of the School Board’s 7 total seats. Incumbent Tammy Sharp is running unopposed in Zone 1, and candidate Katie Darby is running unopposed in Zone 4. Only Zone 3 and Zone 7 are contested races.
